& PERSONNEL UNIT
The Administartion
and Personnel Unit of the Administartion Police was established
in
November 1997. It was briefly accomodated at the Administration
Police Training College
Before being relocated to the current location
Nyayo house in 2004.
Prior to its
establishment, the unit was operated in common with the Office of
the President
personnel unit.
FUNCTIONS
- To formulate,
intepret and implement human resource policies
- To process
appointments and records of new staff
- To administer
AP payments
- To Deploy
Administration Police personnel
- Administering
and maintaining personnel records and complement system
VISION:
To be the most
efficient personnel section within the civil service of Kenya
MISSION:
To ensure prompt
action on all personnel issues,maintain a clean payroll,proper personnel
records,management and processing of payment as required based on
the laid down
regulations.
