ASSISTANT COMMANDANT ADMINISTRATION POLICE. A.O OTIENO PREAMBLE The unit was established on 1st july,2008.The formation was first mooted and captured in our strategic plan 2004-2009.its headquarters is located in kenyawa location,Mashuru Division Kajiado District in Rift valley Province. It is based in Emali along Mombasa road next to the Administration Police senior staff College (APSSC) at a grid reference 399632.It is approximately 12Kms from Emali trading centre and 4kms from Masimbwa Market. VISION To be the leading Rural Border Patrol Security provider to all people in kenya. MISSON The Unit exist to contribute to National development through interdiction of terrorism activities,small arms control and reduction of cross border crimes within and along our posts of entry. MOTTO Secure Border for all. MANDATES The Unit derives its Mandates predominatly from cap 85,128,63 and 75 of the Laws of kenya and other related Laws of kenya. BORSOPTS-BORDER SEA OPERATION TEAM Is situated in Ndau island Lamu East District(Faza) in Coast Province.Covers part of the Eastern side of the kenyan Coastal strip
